ATC Williams recently hosted a Chinese mining delegation from the Yunnan Province.

The objective of the delegation’s visit was to gain a greater understanding of mine tailings and water management in Australia. A first session was organised at the International Chamber of Commerce in Melbourne, and Charles Vuillier Principal Engineer, gave an overview of the future of mining and in particular challenges around water conservation. A workshop was later organised at ATC Williams’s office in Mordialloc (Melbourne) with Keith Seddon Technical Manager and Mark Dillon Principal Engineer and Office Manager addressing all the relevant topics about tailings and water management. Zerui Thomas Lu one of our Tailings Engineer, who speaks fluent Mandarin, facilitated the communication with the delegation.
