ATC Williams was honoured to sponsor the recent dinner held by AusIMM - The Minerals Institute Annual Dinner in Melbourne.

Venkata (Mani) Rajagopalan (Principal Consultant at Concerto Analytics) was the MC for the evening and paid tribute to the founders who established this institution 145 years ago. Paul Greenhill (Principal at Morro Verde Group) spoke about the AusIMM partnership with Earth Ed, an initiative to provide regional students currently undertaking Year 10 with the opportunity to discover the diverse range of careers, education pathways, and employment available across Australia, with a focus on metallurgy. Holly Ransom (Non-Executive Director & CEO Emergent) made an excellent presentation helped the large contingent of “baby boomers” present to understand the need and hopes of the Millennial Generation and what it means for future business. At the end of the presentation, Gabriela Love - BEng(Min), MBA, GAICD, MAusIMM(CP) from Newcrest, thanked Holly for the presentation and spoke about the coming Oak’s breakfast organised by WIMnet (Women in Mining Network) also associated with AusIMM.
