Waste Management Association Australia (WMAA) QLD event ‘Breakfast with the Minister’

Categories:

Last week Melanie Kempton, Lee Rigley and Makaela McGrath from the Brisbane waste team attended the Waste Management Association Australia (WMAA) QLD event ‘Breakfast with the Minister’, joined by the The Hon Leeanne Enoch MP

Minister for Environment and the Great Barrier Reef, Minister for Science, and Minister for the Arts.

This well attended event provided a great opportunity for ATCW to network with key operators, industry bodies, department staff and other waste industry members. Melanie (WMAA QLD Branch President) took the opportunity to discuss with the minister the need for a focus on waste management and support for innovation across the state. The event was sponsored by SEUZ, attended by CEO Mark Venhoek and WMAA National President Garth Lamb (pictured).
