Mick has worked in the capacity of a Hydrogeologist for over 20 years in government, private consulting and the mining industry.
He has considerable experience in planning and implementing field investigations, hydrogeological assessment and conceptualisation, together with skills in groundwater hydraulics analysis, groundwater modelling, geographical information systems, data management, project management and reporting.
Since 2008, Mick has worked predominantly on large-scale mining projects, covering a mix of both prefeasibility and operational mines, including Underground and Open-Cut Operations in both single and dual phase environments (in Australia and Papua New Guinea).
Mick has lectured on groundwater for the Sustainable Resources Industry Training Group and has also been engaged as an expert witness as part of the impact assessment process.
