I can already see that 2024 will be another exciting year for ATC Williams. Our Perth office is gearing up for significant growth, with four new members joining us in the first quarter to make a team of nine. This expansion will elevate our ground engineering capabilities and support a 30-year legacy of delivering geotechnical excellence for our WA clients.
I am delighted to warmly welcome Mr. Dushan Silva, who joins our corporate team in the newly established role of Senior Manager of Commercial and Business Partnering. Based in Queensland, Dushan brings a wealth of experience that will strategically contribute to our success.
In the spirit of innovation and collaboration, 2024 is dedicated to fostering new technical communities of practice. These are guided by a commitment to project management excellence, ensuring unparalleled service for our clients and delivering maximum value to our shareholders.
Internally, our focus will be on professional development. Our Laboratories will become a crucial training tool, offering younger engineers practical, hands-on experience and skills development. The Health, Safety, Environment, and Wellbeing (HSE&W) team is championing safety conversations and implementing a robust wellbeing strategy. They will collaborate with our People and Culture team to promote wellness, engagement, motivation, and happiness among our team.
Mark your calendars for several key events this year, including the PASTE Conference, Leadership Retreat, ATC Williams 24th Annual Technical Seminar, and the ACG Mine Closure Conference. These events are valuable opportunities to network, share knowledge and stay current on industry trends.
