— A 40 Year Foundation

ATC Williams is a leader in providing solutions for tailings, water and waste. In our fourth decade of operations, we celebrate the milestone moments of our history, which began in 1981 providing geotechnical services to the Melbourne market, evolving as a prominent contributor to mine tailings management services throughout Australia and around the world. Today, ATC Williams is recognised for unparalleled capabilities in tailings, water, and waste.

40 years of Excellence

From our first humble office in the suburbs of Melbourne, we expanded to WA in 1993, Queensland in 2011, NSW in 2019 and Tasmania in 2021.

Our national capacity provides convenient access to Australia’s mining and resources markets, and more importantly, connection to our clients.
Our NATA registered laboratory, based in Melbourne was established as a unique tailings characterisation facility that forms a critical part of our tailings management and slurry engineering services.

Global Capability

Since 2000, our team has established a substantial footprint in key mining markets around the world, servicing a diverse range of projects.

A permanent base in Lima, Peru opened in 2015, from where we service the South American mining market. We continue to manage projects in Asia, Indonesia, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.

— One ATC Williams

We foster a working environment that encourages long-term commitment from our team. Similarly, we engineer for the long-term and understand that relationships are the foundation of success.

Collaboration between offices and cross-selling of our services support our ONE ATC WILLIAMS philosophy. Using this approach encourages opportunities, inclusion, diversity, leadership, and work-life balance for staff while allowing us to serve clients better than ever.

ONE ATC WILLIAMS benefits both our staff and our clients. Regardless of where they live in the world, our clients have access to all of our experts, and both our staff and clients gain from the company’s knowledge-sharing practices.
