Our national capacity provides convenient access to Australia’s mining and resources markets, and more importantly, connection to our clients.
Our NATA registered laboratory, based in Melbourne was established as a unique tailings characterisation facility that forms a critical part of our tailings management and slurry engineering services.
Since 2000, our team has established a substantial footprint in key mining markets around the world, servicing a diverse range of projects.
A permanent base in Lima, Peru opened in 2015, from where we service the South American mining market. We continue to manage projects in Asia, Indonesia, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.
We foster a working environment that encourages long-term commitment from our team. Similarly, we engineer for the long-term and understand that relationships are the foundation of success.

Innovation began in the 1980s when company founder Paul Williams pioneered the first use of Central Thickened Discharge system in Australia
Paul established our company in 1981, to provide an independent geotechnical consulting engineering service to the construction and mining industries.
Over the last 40 years, Paul has become a recognised leader, researcher and innovator in the field of mine tailings management. His interests include tailings beach slope theory, tailings consolidation behaviour, the development and application of Central Thickened Discharge (CTD) schemes, and cover design for tailings dam closures
