Nicola is a Principal Hydrologist, specialising in mine water management, catchment hydrology, environmental flow assessment, and dam planning and yield assessments.
Nicola provides operational and long-term strategic support to open-cut and underground mine sites in a range of geographies. She has a particular interest in tropical hydrology and has undertaken projects in Australia, Africa, South America, Laos, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Papua New Guinea.
Nicola is focused on delivering practical solutions to improve water management outcomes. She is an experienced project manager and has held roles as the discipline lead or project manager for a number of large multi-disciplinary projects and EISs.
She is proficient in the use of hydrologic, hydraulic, and water quality modelling software including GoldSim, RORB, HECRAS, MIKE11, MIKE21, MIKE FLOOD, IQQM, REALM, and eWater Source.
