Kathy is a Senior Tailings Engineer at ATC Williams Brisbane office and a PhD scholar at The University of Queensland in Geotechnical Engineering. She has almost eight years of experience in the tailings sector. Whilst her career has encompassed diverse projects across various stages of tailings storage facility (TSF) lifespans, her primary expertise centers on tailings management and governance including assisting in compliance with GISTM and TSM.
She is also actively involved in tutoring, lab demonstrating and research assistance for undergraduate and master thesis projects in Geotechnical Engineering. Beyond her professional duties, Kathy actively engages as a committee member of the Queensland Tailings Group (QTG) and the Mine Waste Tailings Conference, demonstrating her commitment to industry advancement and collaboration.
