Luisa is a Principal Engineer with over 13 years of experience within the mining and minerals industry.
She has a wide range of skills including complex project design, construction supervision and technical assistance, geotechnical and hydrogeological engineering design of conventional, thickened and dry stacking tailings deposition schemes, as well as specialised site and laboratory testing. Other areas of expertise include design of embankment dams for water storage and tailings applications, instrumentation and monitoring systems definition and installation, civil design of appurtenant dam structures, seismic analyses to determine ground accelerations for liquefaction analysis, geotechnical material characterisation and mine water management. She has been closely involved in South American and Mongolian projects, and she currently leads the Tasmanian Division.
