Arun is a geotechnical engineer with over 18 years of experience in tailings management. He has been project manager for various tailings dam projects including high consequence category upstream raise projects in Australia. He is currently the tailings management lead at ATC Williams.
Arun specialises in geotechnical site investigations, foundation assessments, laboratory testing, embankment design, slope stability analysis, life of mine planning, feasibility studies, tailings and water management, geotechnical characteristics and behaviour of mine tailings, critical state soil mechanics, liquefaction analyses, project management, construction management, quality assurance and quality control, preparation of operation and maintenance manuals, dam surveillance and rehabilitation.
