Katie is an environmental professional with over 20 years of experience and is a Chartered Chemist of the RACI. Katie’s technical skillsets include mine closure (including PRCP & ERC in Qld) operational environmental management for the resources sector across multiple commodities (base metals, iron ore, manganese, gold), permitting and approvals, and regulatory liaison & compliance for mining and infrastructure development, contaminated sites assessment (soil, groundwater, surface water, sediment, environmental chemistry, acid and metalliferrous drainage), construction environmental management, landfill environmental management and closure, in addition to drinking water and wastewater treatment. Katie’s experience includes governance across a range of resource and non-resource sectors.
Katie is experienced working across multiple sectors, including engineering and environmental consulting, resources sector operations (mining, processing, ports), construction and mining contracting, and government (water and wastewater utilities, local government waste management). Her broad experience brings an understanding of key drivers across multiple sectors, and she enjoys collaborating in multi-disciplinary teams, across Australia (QLD, WA, NT, NSW, ACT) and New Zealand.
