Minh has over 19 years’ experience in design, construction supervision. He has worked as a civil/geotechnical engineer for various infrastructure and mining projects in Australia, Laos, Africa and South America.
Since 2011, Minh has been involved in various aspects of tailings dam operation and design such as dam safety audits, water balance modelling, monitoring and instrumentation review, design and construction supervision. He has a good knowledge of standards and guidelines in tailings dam operation. Minh also has a strong background in geotechnical design, numerical modelling. He is a competent user of modelling software such as Geo-studio (including SlowW, SeepW, SigmaW, QuakeW), Plaxis and FLAC.
