Matt has 10 years of experience within the civil engineering discipline and has a strong background in civil/stormwater design, management, and construction supervision. Matt has been involved with the civil engineering components for many urban, waste, and mining projects in QLD and interstate
The projects Matt has been involved with include, but are not limited to, waste transfer stations, landfill development, mining development, aged care facilities, commercial and industrial and commercial developments, and sub-divisions. Typical tasks have included managing the internal engineering design team, leading co-ordination for the civil design, preparing reports, consulting with contractors through construction, and assisting with construction supervision/certification. Matt is part of the Sunshine Coast Office Team.
Matt has a passion for stormwater and flood engineering design. Matt has completed a Master of Engineering Science with a major in Civil Engineering at the University of Southern Queensland. Matt’s final year project was related to ARR2019 changes to the flood frequency distribution methods, and how this may impact creek flood hydrology.
