Nick is a Principal Civil Engineer at ATC Williams, he manages the Sunshine Coast operations, leading a team of 17 engineers and designers. Nick is a highly capable engineer with over 20 years of experience. He is an expert in waste management and water management and has a keen interest in facility closure. Nick has designed and constructed countless waste facilities for both private and local government clients.
Nick’s passion is waste recovery, he has delivered a long list of Waste Transfer Stations and Waste Resource Recovery Facilities throughout his career. Nick loves the water, this has driven him to develop a deep understanding of how to mitigate high environmental risks in all aspects of surface water engineering. Nick’s exposure to Mining Waste Engineering in career terms has been relatively short and only since he came to ATC Williams in 2018. Mine site facility closure has sparked a keen interest as he sees the benefits of masterplanning mine sites through material balances and water management to achieve the best outcomes for rehabilitation. Nick is a Chartered Engineer, RPEQ and CPESC.
